Chri$h absolutely YES .OS software is not for voltages,only way is DMM to be sure.
I've never killed a single stick of RAM, and I've used ASUS mainly, but also Intel and DFI. The only weird behaviour was those f*cking D9s degradating with time, but they were alive after all. I learned my lesson, no more D9 dying crap for me. Thanks to Powerchip this is a thing of the past, and luckily almost all 2x2GB DDR2 kits are Powerchips

And DMM has to be always in the overclocker's table, even for vcore.
