    Shrouds

Except for the bling, is there any reason (i.e. better temps etc.) why one would want to use shrouds?

afaik, a space between the rad and the fans indeed provides better airflow. Feser claims that 27mm is the minimum for optimal fan performance.

(Not sure, but I also think they're more important for rads that have denser fin setups than low resistance ones like fesers and maybe thermochills.)

Edit: just read a short blurb on feser's forum that a triple feser rad showed 1.8C temp diff with/without xtender shrouds. Test details not yet out.

I guess i'm the only one that thinks the shroud is a bit overboard? I don't mean to be negative but it seems like they prioritize style before substance
I am eagerly awaiting the 480 rad though..

I dunno, their stuff doesn't seem too lacking in substance to me. I don't think the 2 are mutually exclusive, why not make high-performance stuff look cool too? (I agree though, you don't want bling over performance.)

shrouds allows for more of the cooling fins to be exposed to air movement thus lower temps

my 302 heatercore shoud is just over 1.5" which is pretty thick.

I've tried a lot of different red combos, dyes, tubing + dye, and it all pretty much sucks under uv.
Then i tryed the red uv feser tubing, because i have nothing to lose with my "so-so" red uv loop.
It's by far the most red out there, well for the time being.
So now i'm ready to instal a second loop, and if the purple uv looks any where as good as the red.
I'm game for some purple goodness.

Looks nice, but at those prices I prefer TC's.. And 480.. That would maybe be usefull for triple SLI and CPU and mobo, but then the last parts in the loop would get some pretty hot water.. I would prefer 140mm wide rads instead

    140mm radiator?
    Hmm like this https://ssl.coolinglab.co.jp/index.p...roducts_id=515

It's not thermochill, its not Feser, its definatley not Koolance.. its HW Labs I'd imagine that pair of laing ddc 3.2 ultras with tops, should provide enough flow for three gtx280 blocks, cpu block, and maybe the northbridge block on the striker extreme. I mean, what else could you possibly use this for?

Just noticed on the Feser forum that the 480 is expected to be released in a month. (Comes with a free bottle of their corrosion blocker apparently.)
