I removed the P5Q heatpipe assembly 1st so I could replace the stock TIM with AS5 and then cable tied a 40mm scythe mini-kaze fan to the nb heatsink - both of which may be helping.
Good luck getting ot 3.6Ghz mate, was the TIM easily removable or is it the same horror Asus put on the Rampage series ( that was like hardened glue )
