One more thing, if the card is using AFR then that does not necessarily mean there will be micro-stuttering. The way AFR is done at the moment does cause this stuttering.
that's true they could almost eliminate it if they did it right. however to eliminate microstuddering you would have to sync the GPU perfectly and you would loss lots of your performance. thus Crossfire would not seem as attractive to most people and they would not buy it. but how many people know about microstuddering? only us Xtreme people. i am sure AMD is aware of the problem and can fix it they just don't want to on fear of losing sales of uneducated users. and the same goes for Nvidia. thus the only choice if you want smooth studder free play is the GTX 280.
