Well i actually went trough all BIOSes starting from 0507-0801 (well the ones i have anyway) No luck i´m afraid

I´ve also tested every slot with both the 2GB OCZ 1600 modules as well as the Corsair 1800 modules. The first two slots are the ones that functions at all.
Putting a module in slot 3 or 4 results in a no POST with the LCD error msg DET DIMM and thats it...

So i just got my fourth RMA process started. I still think that its a good board if i just could have a board that would work

    Cheers friends
I would guess that your 3rd and 4th slots are defective, if you have tried different sticks and different brands then I think you can just RMA your board. Good Luck with the process.

I know its a bit of a gamble, and I know all the problems you people are having, but im hoping that i'll be a bit lucky, and maybe help add to the great advice in this thread.

I was just wondering one thing... has anyone watercooled the NB on this board, and if so, did they use the fusion block that comes with the stock heatsink, or something else like an MCW30 (I have 2 sat here). If you guys are using a 3rd party block, does the stock cooling come appart like on my rampage formula, or do u have to find cooling for the PWM's and SB too?
If you are going to use Vista, you might be on the safe side with SLI, cant guarantee that though but there is a higher chance that you will have it working as it should.

If you are going to wc the NB, make sure you DONT use the plastic crap that comes in the ASUS package, I heard most people bought them from good brands and their NB didnt leak at all.
You dont need the SB to be water cooled, but a fan blowing towards it would be nice.
Since you are going WC, I recommend you WC your CPU and NB and leave the mosfets with Thermalright heatsinks and the SB with a low profile heatsink that was mentioned here back in page 40 I believe.

The NB plays a big role in the Striker II and having it with low temps helps a lot.
