Right I think I've finally figured out that setting the FSB Term voltage to Auto at 500x8 (Q9450) equates to setting 1.58v manually.

    Scary.

Possibly the Made In xxxxx sticker (all PCB's are made in China, but some still have a sticker that says Made In Taiwan).

Mine is the 'Z' and has the Made In China sticker. Hopefully someone with a Taiwan sticker can confirm it.

Is this board 16x 4x? like the P965, P35 and so on? or is it 8x 8x? I havent found too much information on it regarding this.

If someone has Crossfire/SLI can you test how it benches with the reduced PCIE Link Width?

8x 8x pci-e 2.0 is more than enough for crossfire...

Same board except it doesn't offer 16 phase power management, which you probably will never need.
C2D/C2Q platforms will be antiques next year at this time.
Why they stuck a x4 slot in either, I'll never know.
No one will ever use it.

In response to what I mentioned earlier, and in case anyone reading is interested in the same, I think I'm going to go with these:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227299

According to newegg reviews, anandtech and legion hardware, these 2x2 sticks were able to handle 1200 stable on air.

    Which CPU?

400mhz FSB should be possible on the lowest FSB Term, PLL and NB voltages.

Those PQ ones run fine here Colt but if you can spare the cash the 8500 modules have an 8 layer PCB... yet I can run the 8000 at 8500 speeds too... though 1081Mhz (2.1 volts) on the P35 killed one of them... RMA ones still work fine at 1066Mhz 2.0volts even...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Most of us think that they are better build and more resistant than the cheaper PC8000 ones... think at stock speeds it ain't worth the cash, but to get something extra eg they might be wort the investment...

K did some tests, reverted to 6 multi and started off with 550FSB/1100 ram... I left Perf levels to be decided by the bios aswell as subtimings...

    DRAM Static Read Control: Disabled
    DRAM Read Training: AUTO
    MEM. OC Charger: AUTO
    AI Clock Twister: AUTO
AI Transaction Booster: AUTO (is PL 13)

I ran into trouble at 590FSB... upped Ram voltage to 2.35 (max I want to give my Gskills as they worked fab at 1200mhz at 2.3v on the P35)... went a bit further, dropped PL to 15 almost completeds it's run ( see screenie ) so it could be my ram that needs some more juice ( will try later with a fan over them )... Then I tried to mess with Read Trainer and OC Charger and set them to have more clocking headroom... seemed to have inversed effect as it crashed now at ineration 8...

Will let things cool down and try again to see if I can make 590 complete ( will mess too with the Skews...and TRFC)

You got it. I also managed to get my hands on a nice e8500 so I'll hopefully have some nice results for you next week.
