I had the 8 + 4 pin on the board. (too much for 1 cpu?) The code it was throwing was unidentifiable by asus. They said I was using an unapproved cpu, uh but we know the 5420 should be fine. Asus tech support said socket 0 was correct. I tried it in 01 just for s and giggles. Same problem though. With the ram in the code was 04 I think. Guess I won't know crap till I get another and try again. Raptor drives anyone? a good fast alternative?
