Anyone have luck with this pot on dry ice? I picked up 20 lbs of the stuff and tried all sorts of combinations, was a nightmare pulling anything lower than -40C base temps. Waiting on that LN2 dewar to arrive to truly unleash the potential in the design.

Are you using acetone?

Was using 95% alcohol which works just fine with my GPU pots.

Sweet so everything got there safe and sound. You should ask dinos about DI/acetone in this pot, pretty sure he ran it. Probably really wet mix. I won't recommend any way to run it with DI ever because thats not what it is made for . Good luck with your LN2 runs...hope you like the temp control

yup that's your problem
there are not DICE pots though so you are wasting time on them but you should still be able to get them to do at least -65C

The base is too thickness for dry ice, but for LN2 seems great and everybody that used it can confirm

That's what I believe the issue is. The pulldown takes forever with dry ice, so much mass Getting antsy over my dewar, will post some results once I've got 25L of the good stuff.

the stash is at Cleatus' though I would hurry if I were you because he is trying to huff the stuff. the only thing holding him back is massive brain freeze.

you should still be able to get them to do at least -65C

There is more than enough surface area for this.
Just make sure you use small DICE pellets, or very small pieces of brick.
Acetone bubbling level under load should be at least over the top of the F1/holes, if not near the top of the pot.

Bad first time with 3 pots
Huge problems with Cold bug cpu and vga
Unfortunately after waste 15L of LN2 I've decided to stop the bench
Not easy to handle well 3 pots
This is my only screen taked during the warming up, I would like to run some nice '03 but freeze every time during GT3





The pots are amazing but those 9800GTX are really bad cold bugged
