I test max FSB on my QX (with Cellshok) but it's a crap

    Only 490 mhz (liquid cooling)

    Max Everest Bandwidth (PL=6)

    10 GB/s @Sandra

    @Holmer

O.K. - here we go......., I can highly recommend to flash back to the 0115 BIOS.

    Tested 0401 & 0501 but many dividers are broken - could only run 1:1 & 1:2.

    Didn't test 0201.

    But here ist 0115........ - how about 8 x 563 :

You might not believe me - but my new E8400 is doing this with only 1.1 VTT & 1.52 PLL.................

    Great G.Skill 1600 GBHZ also - need 1.88 VDIMM for 1T 900 MHz CAS 7 !!!

To avoid all the questions - here's my cooling setup:

Pics taken with my previous MAXIMUS EXTREME.

    nice results

    my Evolution overvolts about 0.06-0.08v

So if the 1.88 is from bios, the real would be about 1.94-1.96

Thanks - my Vdimm hits the point. Tested with my blue Cellshock - ran on MAXIMUS EXTREME 1000 MHZ CAS 8 @ 1.92 Vdimm real (MAXIMUS EXTREME has a sensor!) - and now I need to set also 1.92 in Evolution BIOS for them to get the same speed. So mine does not overvolt I think.

    different m/b different volt/mhz

The best way to know the real volts of every part is to find the measure point with a DMM to see the real voltage.
Dont trust 100% the monitoring of every m/b

Now one step further...... - still 8x563 but with 3:5 divider.

    Lowered Vcore down to 1.384.

    This board loves G.Skill GBHZ - 938 MHz CAS 7 @ 1.9 Vdimm, tRFC still 60 and
    PL 8:

    Nice Everest score read/write/copy..........

    You kick ass Camou', GG

For me it's a bit disapointing: I can't do nothing serious with my OCZ 8500 Gold series... On a X38T-DQ6 I could have some nice ram frequencies, but on thius mobo... IT REALLY SUXX, I'm forced to get stronger rams

wuld theze fit the config http://www.memoryc.com/computermemor...iesrammod.html ?? (had soo many issues with OCZ rams that I'm a bit in the need for recomfort concerning that mobo

Yadayadayadayada - wait for me............ This will be the next step,

didn't try to optimize RAM timings so far. I also will try 7-6-5-X.

BTW - You can flash back to 0115 witz EZflash in BIOS. Load the 0115 to an USB stick and after reboot Your BIOS will recognize the file in the EZflash menue.

    Bios 0115

Flashed to BIOS 0115 earlier today to see if it was better for my setup but it turned out that it gave me a couple of BSOD's on my standard settings (4.6MHz), so I am back on 0501. Probably my RAM as these are brand new...

is that 0501 so good ?

I did this (on 0115 bios) today, I'd be glad if some of you guys could compare the scores to yours at similar settings. To me it doesn't sound bad but still some comparison would be a good thing.
    Vista32
    XP32
same bios settings, only timings change from Vista to XP, that's all I could do atm, sorry

You can only run 1:1 & 1:2 divider with 0501 - all others are broken....

If you have the Load Line calibration @ Performance, this is the reason for the random bsods

Probably because the 0401 + 0501 BIOS include optimizations for high speed memory (that was written about the 0401 at least on Asus download). I see you are using OCZ 2x2GB 16000 memory how fast can you get them running stable on the Evolution? Last time I saw your settings you were running 418x11. Is that the case still? I had a hard time getting my 2x2GB Corsair DDR1800 memory to run stable at the rated speed. I'm afraid that my CPU is holding me back to go further than around 450x9, but my memory is not going much further than DDR1800.
Could you please post some settings if you are running your memory at DDR1800+ speed?

    To normal.
but you have to bump a bit the vcore to have the same voltage with the LLC @ performance.
