If I had these cards I would bench them and then maybe post results. One thing I would not do it say "I'm gona...", I'd just do it. Beware of anyone just out to stir pot.

Yeah OBR does this ALL THE TIME.. He did this on the Asus S2E and everybody was all over his leg humping him. Then he bailed just like now then the real man "pmp" came into the thread and finished the job that OBR started. And you guys defending him STOP already. If he willing to OPEN his mouth all the time which is often then he should be a man and finish what he started.

    Lol, almost funny.

    http://www.tgdaily.com/html_tmp/cont...37881-135.html

Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT and ATI Radeon 4870 get a 225 watt TDP

With PCI Express slot providing 75 watts of juice and the motherboard another 75 watts, there is a theoretical supply of up to 225 watts. That is quite a jump in the sub-$300 segment and it makes you wonder what the reasons may be, but we are certain that overclockers won't mind. One of key limitations for the extreme overclocking of the previous generation parts was the fact that the cards (3850, 3870, 8800GT, 8800GTS512) had only one power connector.

And the reason why ATI was so popular with overclockers was the fact that you could tell the motherboard to supply 150 watts, and ATI's 3870 would eat 150 watts from the motherboard (total: 75 watts + 150 watts = 225W). With two power connectors in place for the 4850 and 4870, overclockers do not need any hacks to get access to 225 watts. In fact, the 4870 will top out at 300 watts (150 watts from the motherboard, 75+75W from connectors). The 9800GT will be restricted to 225 watts (75 watts from the motherboard)

Since he says he works for a magazine, its possible he took it at the office where they'd probably have those kinds of places anyways? (or just find a really white table lol)

I cant believe OBR spams that he has a card in GIANT capital letters says that he will post benchmarks as soon as he get drivers and then withdraws like a lil girl when the rubber meets the road. Way to go attention slut. Grumble, grumble... Meh friggin tease, i can wait man, no worries just dont expect any sort of credence to be given to your future post OBR.

No, all I'm saying is, don't go around saying you can't privately give them to other people when technically you shouldn't have them either. I personally don't care that you have them, just wanted to point out the flaw in the argument of "they're not mine to give".

There's a difference between posting something to the public domain, thereby giving everyone else permission to view it, and re-posting those images after the original poster has removed them and signified that the license given out to view them initially has now been revoked. There is no requirement on me to delete my copies of the images, but I cannot in good faith repost them.

As was said above, you're not missing much.

You can't revoke a public domain license . I respect your decision not to hand them out, but don't try to claim morals = the law = the reason you're not .
