First up is ya mobo, yours is known for bad droop/drop (never had the EP35 but in everything I read it's about the same as the predecessor)... so if you opt first for a higher specced model (PWM's) than you will need for sure less voltage... second up is the batch ( plz look in my list to compare results) : there are golden, good, average and really bad CPU's out there... try to find your batch plz...
I have had 4 different E8400's and one E8500 now... it's all about testing, some or much luck involved and good setup in bios, mobo design and good cooling and ambients...
Thanks for the info. Good stuff. I have noticed that when I select 1.45V its actually 1.44V according to CPU-Z. Would raising the FSB or NB voltage allow me to run a lower VCore?
