Waiting for a DFI X48 T3R, I'm dead tired of my S2E. This was my absolute last effort with nvidia motherboardchipset, that for sure.

Try installing without the Raptors, it worked for me at 450FSB - with raptors = errors, no raptors = no errors!!

Are you saying that you don't get any freezes now? What FSB are you running?

The only problem that I have had in my entire life with the SIIE is that I cant watch movies/videos with SLI enabled. Thats it, thats all I need to be fixed so I can have my PC working 100%.

But I never had corruptions or freezes because of my raptors or RAM. Never never never.

Is it the same problem the reference boards had with P04 that is now fixed in P05? ( here ) If so i assume Asus don't have a fix for that yet.

    Or is it different?

Well it is in fact the same problem but is not fixed with P05. Only 780i has been fixed with P05p, but 750i/790i users are still with no fix available.

I think P05p is a beta because AFAIK, ASUS does not have a fix and MSI currently has only a beta BIOS available. Thats why some 780i still experience issues with SLI even though they using P05p.
    We can just wait...

To be precise - 780i based Asus boards (P5N-T Deluxe, Striker 2 Formula, P5N72-T Premium) have already alpha BIOS ready.
790i - should be ready by Tuesday.

Me: what PSU was that again?

Thats good news, I just hope this BIOS works nicely paired with 175.16WHQL.

Probably a very immature BIOS that is currently on labs only?

I would update S2F thread as soon as it will be possible. Patience is virtue

Some of you may be excited ;-) New build on the way. Should improve CL7 performance As usual, beware of flashing from OS. Use DOS/EzFlash2 instead.

    Let me see if there's any CL7 improvement ( maybe I'll hit DDR3-2100 7-7-6 now ) [ I'm already at 2070 ]

Gonna give the BIOS a try later on

Wait, does this fix the SLI issues or is it just about RAM performance improvement?

Also, could you please post the changelog you know I always like to know whats new/fixed/improved.

Id say as it didnt help my SLI at all, its probably only RAM.

Is there any word on when that will be fixed?

What SLI issues are you talking about guys ?
Are you talking about the video freezes ?
Didn't that occur in single card configurations as well ?

    No
    Single card=no freezes at all
SLI= freezes when watching videos. No matter what player/codec, BIOS/driver. ~20 after watching videos->beep->restart.

    Trying 0801
