Tim or Dino, any chance you've got a newer BIOS for the EP45T-DS5 m8s ?

    Not much.
The EP45T-DS5 board is revision... listen... 0.3
    BIOS is D21 ( WTF ? ) and...unfortunately full of bugs.
Most overclocking attempts ( even ridiculous ones, like 380MHz FSB with gay timings ) result in a... power on - power off sequence...
Guess I'll have to wait for Sue to come back from Computex

don't waste time with those early boards
i'm sure we will get full retail ones for testing soon

btw here are some results i had on the USB stick from Taiwan event on DS5 board

    nothing special
crappy drivers and buggy board....some of these were done on single channel and also i used the second PCI Express slot so 8x bandwidth

i was more interested in just testing the CPU at 2volts all day long to see if the board will live

    it's a survivor hehehe

That board is full of bugs unfortunately, even with last bios (D23), it doesnt clock badly but its not that stable

    I received 3 stuff, 1 EP45-DS4 ( seems to be working ok now, even with early BIOS ), 1 EP45T-DS5 ( God knows if it'll ever work properly ), and a T-Shirt.
2 out of 3 stuff working properly

Come on Sue, I seriously need some new BIOSes

That's the second report for E2.
    PPinDaHouse told me the same.

I will try later on my board ( need to get some stuff done first ).
Could be a wrong ID... we'll see.
