solely from a designers point of view, that top piece doesnt work.
generally when i look at the Tj07 the most prominent shapes are
obvious (rectangle, half cylinders, a lot of flat faces) to me that
would detract from the case as a whole. based from my observation
it is very hard to create anything inspired from the case alone but
im sure you can come up with something. to be honest the mesh
was closes to being perfect when it came to linear design.

maybe you can tie the top design with the front as well as from the
side. that way there interest on all sides, making it a whole again.

none the less, youve made art of everything here and i am very
    excited to see whats next

Same idea as you, that grill need a more linear structure but not like rad grill. More inspired by the shapes of the case.

I'm sure you are going to find the right design Charles.

The more I look at it the more I agree with you guys - it doesn't match the rest of the case. Thanks for the feedback - I'll keep plugging away at it.

Steffen: There are openings at the front of the midplate where air moves from the lower to the upper section. As long as the case isn't air tight, there is always airflow - the thing to consider is circulation and as long as the murderMod case is used with water cooling, there should be no problem.

    Nice
And how did you mount this 120mm in the front?
I know I have a lot of questions, but this is one interesting project
