And just a word to the wise: I got a couple of really nasty pics of an absolutly astonishingly bad TIM application job on my 680i board. I heard its better now, but, if you're liquid cooling your CPU, I'd hate to see you get pulled down by your NB because its too hot. Putting on some decent paste got me 3C back. Heres the pic from the bottom of my 680i NB hs after removal:

Using all the TIM they supplied I made a nice message for all the folks responsable:

imapwnyou - skipping the 9800s all together? seriously wish the 9800 didnt suck so hard. Oh well, GTX280 looks to cure our performance withdrawl problem

I have 2 actually. 440 is about the most stable for 45nm quad which I don't like. Otherwise a relatively solid board.

    @Peter

Beautiful build. I like the UV, you didn't overkill it. Have a picture of the full case other angles? I'd like to take in the whole thing.

First liquid cooling build, took about 10x longer than I planned (and about 10x the budget x_x)

Used this site quite a bit for this project and learning about WC in general - much thanks for the amazing amount of helpful info!

Build is a Mountain Mods UFO Duality, left side is MB + blocks etc, right side is Hard drives, 2nd pump/fan controller/dvd + misc. Wedged between the 2 sides is the hidden PSU - tried to hide most of the cords in there. Still waiting on an RMA for one of the Enermax cluster case fans (led's not working) and need to tidy up some fingerprints and a bit more wire management, but finally closing in on the finish line for this project.

The colored loop is purple, though it looks a bit pinkish in the pics
Radiators are 2x PA120.3 each in a push/pull fan setup.
    Waterblocks are Danger Den ~

    Pic overload incoming

I have a similar rad to that, an XSPC, although mine also has a tank. I cut a hole in the top of my lian-li, but not the same cut as that. Here's what I did:

So it's just a cut out for the 2 fan holes, but due to space limitations I had to fit the rad closer to the top anyway. I measured it all by hand, then cut, as the radiator mounts were just a pain in the ass to get right. If you like, I can give you the dimensions.

    Good mornin'!

Of course. Sorry for the bad quality, it's shot with my mobile phone, my brother's got a better cam, but he's asleep and I don't want to wake him

Well, this is it. There is still some tuning to come.

You might ask yourself, why the tubes go into the case. Well, I didn't want them to be at the back, I had it like that a couple of times but I didn't really like it. I think this is much better.

Ah and yes, this is no mora 2 Pro, this is a mora2 core built into the fan-adapter so you can mount fans on it

    Cheers,
    Peter

    Nice work ! Very tidy.

    And a small tip.

Try to dim the light, it will have a more pleasant effect

    Thanks

Do you mean the cathodes or the camera's shutter speed??

The cathodes. A fairly low white light will have a more impact.

Thanks, but I went for the blue cathode because my case is black and blue.

He's referring to taylormsj's question above, whether he meant dimming the lights or the shutter speed of the camera.

And I agree, a dimmer effect would look sweet, even if it does look great now too.

l33t p1mp, lighting tends to work better if you hide the cathodes so that it simply shines onto the components and so that you can't see the cathode directly - indirect lighting.

True, I used to have it behind the psu bar where you couldnt see it but the whole case was illuminated. I like it that way better, but I put it there as a test to see how it looked.
