I have that card and flashed it with 8800gt bios and got 128sp/256bit/512MB. However, only 3dmark06 and Assassin's creed are use-able. 3Dmark03 and 05 suffer from some artifacts

I believe not all cards are 100% mod-able. Some shader processors might be broken etc....like 9800SE's time.

did you try down clocking a little to see if it heps
