CPU VID Control - DK boards don't have that option.

Most boards have one or the other as an option to alter VCORE. The UT/LT series is pretty much unique having both.

do u have single or double sided tracers, and use the 333 ram straps whenever u can

also start with 1.5-1.6V NB and then adjust the ram to aggressive and your phases, then gtl last

and the board might overvolt if u leave voltages on auto, or leave vdroop control enabled over 1.45V

if those are double sided try 333/800 so ur at 1009mhz with 4-4-4-10 with aggressive on your sub timings and e-a-e-e-e/e-a-a-e-e for your phases, and u will need like 2.15V ram and 1.5-1.55V NB

I'd put a lot more confidence in the Core temp and Real temp programs. Smart Guardian always read low for me, plus there's only one reading.

If you doubt one of the numbers, reach in the case and touch the heatsink closest to the core. If it's room temp or lower it's probably closer to 30, but if it's warmer than room temp I'd say 50.

Although these modifications are more or less a shot in the dark because there has been nothing found that causes this problem by neither company. If it works for you thats great but the fact is for the majority of users the combination is nothing but trouble. Normal 3870x2 cards suffer from constant freezing and most 4 port versions won't even allow the board to boot.

GeCube is the only card manufacturer looking for a solution to these issues. Neither them nor DFI have found a work-around as of yet.

Supposedly something to do with the implementation of the Award BIOS.
