I have bios 511 with Striker 2, and it's quite good. But it seems that there is some problems on FSB. Bios 6xx/7xx are better or not?

After 2 Striker II Extremes that were DOA, I was able to get a refund and got a EVGA board.
Although the EVGA board does not have all the ASUS nice stuff, I have found it to be a solid board.
Finally got the system fired up to do some benchmarking before I put it on the Lightspeed (Phase cooler). Just have it on Liquid Cooling.
Got the system to 4.5G (475 *9.5)
CPU Core 1.45v most other voltages just bumped a little.

Still figuring out some of the bios setting, but it should work out.

It seems problem with SiiEx are real. My first mobo (borrowed for review) was great. But my own second has only problems, no data corruption but OCing is poor ... i cannot to realize any high FSB stable at any conditions ... i am moving to eVGA reference board. I had XFX 790 before, but in that time was BIOS P02 and was flaky ... now i hope i can OC my QX9650 at 4GHz with no problem on eVGA

I went back to EVGA 780i after refund S2E and DDR3 (it's funny how $239.99 became so cheap after all this mess). I've got a rev. A2 and it's been rock solid from day 1. They even fixed all the TIM's and I don't have to worry about MCP temps anymore. Rev. A1 died on me 2 times 3 months ago but EVGA CS was great so I gave another shot. I'm glad SLI is back and I'm able to step-up, both cards and mobo, in the next couple of months.

Ok this is RIDICULOUS
How can my pc fail Prime25 after 14 HOURS????????????????????
Thread 1 failed after 14 hours of priming, how the F can this happen! P1 and P2 are giving me so much headaches.
Guess this will be "another priming day".... time to increase voltages, god.
Here is my guess why ... I had the same issue after 2 hours though, but still ...

I doubt that voltage increase will help you, but who knows ...

So that means Im really estable, but is just that because of that out-of-nowhere bug came out prime95 showed error? Is that why even when increasing vcore and vdimm I got that error?
I see it kinda weird but we will see... I have changed the GTLRef of Core 1 to -53 since thats the only thing left I have to see if Im 100% estable.
Is there any program that will record CPU temperatures? I would like to confirm this...
HWMonitor records lowest and highest temps on all cores.

I forget, does OCCT record temps even when your using other problems (and not OCCT)? Say I want to run Prime95 and want OCCT to record and graph my CPU temps throughout the Prime95 run, is that possible or does it only record temps when your running a OCCT benchmark?

Ok Im new in OCCT, how many hours is recommended?
Also, what about Realtemp, how to configure it to read 45nm quad temps?
Yes, I assume so ... The bug look like a reading of some thermal sensor ... and it has nothing to do with Vcore nor with Vdimm ...
Everest Lavalys does it ... and OCCT as well. It's easy to configure Real temp, for Vista you just need to download one file, it is on Real temp site.

Im pissed now
With -58mv, I got 13 hours of Prime95 estable and my PC just froze while listening music!!!
Im going to try -65mv now and try one last time, if this fails, Im going straight to 0702. Its been like 5 days with 701 now and I just cant tolerate 8800Mbs of memory reading.
Why does enabling P1 and P2 make so much trouble? Gosh... I might be better going straight to 0703... but I hate doubts on my head so I will try 0702 too just in case.

Slim I know you have tested every bios there is but 703 will save you soooo much work, Also what I have found with the SIIE is that you can be prime stable but not 3D stable or Media player stable or any other kind of stable.. I keep posting my results I am rock solid at 4.2 1770 linked and synced but I can rock 1800 no problem on QX9650 just the divider didn't yield 4.2 which is where I want to run my processor.. I get awesome read write and copy as well I think 12,000 on read..
