1.5v set from bios.
Never try with lower voltages.
For 4300mhz 3d benchable I need around 1,35v real.
This main has a huge v-drop
FSB testing with low memory clocks, just boot @ this speed:
RAM testing, trrd 6 and P1/P2 enabled:

Wow, I expected less than 10 secs for 1M. Anyways good job.
Do you have Everest?? PM me and I can get it to you.. If my memory serves me correct Everest is the most accurate at giving you your actual V-core but I think Roger knows best on that.. Is that correct Roger isn't Everest the best accurate read out of V-core from the operating system?? Didn't you say you took a voltmeter to the board and that is what you found??? I can't remember for sure....

Are there any confirmed pencil mods for the evga 790i ultra board ?
So far, anything over 4 ghz on my qx9650 results in instability.
1800 FSB rock stable at an 8.5 multi.
Seems very suspect in bios or something.

I just want to start a I HATE JMICRON portion of the thread because of their imcompetence they have ruined e-sata and that is such a bummer.. I have a 1TB Seagate internal, RaptorXRaid0, and a 1TB Seagate external.. Everytime I turn on my external with e-stata my computer freezes and then the drive will not come up in the OS... But here is the thing if I disconnect the internal 1TB then my external e-sata works perfectly (which defeats the purpose), any suggestions here I mean besides the obvious JMICRON is a company that is completely incapable of making functioning hardware and drivers??? I HATE JMICRON, I HATE JMICRON, I HATE JMICRON!!!! Does anybody remember Silicon Image they had such a great prouct and then some God forsaken reason the retards from JMICRON took over and ruined esata.... Or maybe I am the retard and I just don't understand how to use the e-sata but I don't think so...
I apologize for offending anyone by using the name retard and offending any retards by associating them with JMICRON (which is more offensive than the previous)..

4.5Ghz will do it, aided by 8 or 12Mb of CPU cache... but it's a nice score on Nvidia based mobo
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree
Good news for me. 100% estable at 1800FSB/1600DRAM. Will post the screenshot once I get home. BIOS 0701.

I am 100% estable Prime95 25.6 running for more than 12 hours. UNFORTUNATELY, my P1 & P2 since they are in AUTO, they seem to be disabled since Everest gave me 8848Mbs for reading ! But this morning before leaving home, I enabled P1 and P2 and left it running Prime25... we will see how it goes when I get back home.
So far, I love the board and the CPU. I still want to give 0702 a try as well as 703 between today and saturday night. Just to not to be left with doubts on my head
I think Im one of the few lucky Striker II Extreme Owners who did got a decent board. Never had corruptions and I been running this board since first day I got it with more than 10 BIOS updates done.

UPDATE#1: Just came home, turned on the screen and saw Prime failed on thread#1I just gave my vdimm a boost from 1.86 to 1.88 since it might need more power to handle P1 and P2 enabled. We will see how it goes this time... UPDATE: FAILED

Final verdict?

Hey what do you guys think?
My system is 100% estable with P1 and P2 in auto but when I enable them, my system becomes unestable. I have tryied raising the vdimm by 0.02 (1.88) and also raising the vcore from 1.32500 to 1.33125 and prime still shows error.
With vdimm raised it shows core 1 failed and with vcore raised it shows core 3 failed. I am now trying with NB at 1.46 to see if this will solve anything. If not, then I will try with both vdimm and vcore raised and if it fails (hopefully not) with NB also raised to 1.46 and if nothing... moving on to 0702.
Oh men Im happy to be estable but with 8846 reading from RAM, im kinda pissed![]()
A quick question fellas, i was taking my video card out and i scratched my motherboard by the video card, its very small and its white, i dont think it damaged anything, what do you guys think??
someone with QX9650 at 4GHz (400x10, 450x9) on SIIEx post your settings please ... GTL.
