A strong ridge of high pressure over the area today resulted in many
official record temperatures being broken.
High temperature records for may 19th
Daggett California... 108 old record 103 set in 2006
Needles California... 114 old record 110 set in 2006
Las Vegas Nevada... ..108, old record 102 set in 2006
Bishop California... .99 old record 98 set in 1954
In addition to the above official records... unofficial records were
also set at...
Mount Charleston Nevada... 82 old reading 79 set in 1986
Kingman Arizona... ... ... ..103 old reading 96 set in 2006
Death Valley California... 120 old reading 114 set in 2006.
The National Park service in Death Valley also stated that the 120
degree reading today was the earliest in the year that 120 degrees
had been reached with the previous record being may 25 1913.

You don't need no stinkin' a/c when you have watercooling![]()
you need to submerge the evaporator of the a/c unit in a reservoir full of denatured alcohol and distilled water, then run the coolant through your watercooling setup. just remember to insulate everything and use pumps, tubing, and blocks that can handle the low temps, but I digress...
I just put a 10,000btu window unit in my 70sq ft officeIt was a display model at circuit city going for $129, I couldn't pass it up.
