hmm for 400fsb ram at 1000mhz CL5 tRD 6.. 2gb kit i need around FSB 1.35
Cl4 tRD 5 on 4x1gb need around NB 1.4
that is major bump when 800 CL3 trd 6 is still okay on default NB voltage..
yes i get that too ..the cold boot issue.. its freaking random
even though occt 12 hours/ memtest86 overnight/ wdmt 5 passes says stable.
once in a while restart/ minor changes in bios/ once in every 4 times of powerup.. it wont boot .. until i reboot it the second time...
hmm ure voltage is kindda low.. for lower trd, high bandwidth on ram, increasing multi and lower bus.. u need more vdimm.. compare to 1:1 500fsb..
dunno this is my take so far.. on this..

Will that 04/08 BIOS for the UT work on the LT board?
Are they not the same boards but with different cooling?

Can you tell me please if with the UT stock cooling, does the NB heat up a lot under overclocking environment or not?
Should I get the HR-05 SLI IFX extra for the NB?

@Praz
can you play please with some 4x2Gb memory?
Is it worth waiting for the T3R? (Other than for the privilege of paying more for memory). Any significant speed advantage?

I don't think I have 8gb of DDR2 here close enough to each other, even by redoing the SPD, that will play nice together. I'll check
Won't know till some of us have the board. One would think there would be some type of advantage as the chipset was designed for DDR3 but with DDR2 support built in. But that may or may not translate to a real world difference.
i just received my LT today, i will do full testing against my maximus formula on sunday w/ exact same hardware (doing a motherboard transplant)
my goal is to exceed my 24/7 that I am at currently. reason being, i feel that asus could have implemented better gtl control over the cpu on the maximus/rampage and didnt on purpose, thus this is my limiting factor atm w/ acceptable volts temps. see sig for specs, im just hoping to same memory bandwidth as well once tweaked.
what do you guys think? is this do-able? or did am i going to be returning a mobo.

wasup, any one know what happen with Clunk's forum![]()
He's rebuilding/upgrading a few bits of the site and hopes to get the site back up this evening.

man not sure if i should grab one of these or wait for p45 .. i have a x38 now.... hmmm desicions ..
upgrading...cooler master cm690 case, corsair hx850, samsung 1tb x 3, optiarc burners x2, gskill 4gb ripjaws, working on the rest again
hmm good point forgot about that..i just dont know if ill gain anything over the x38 by going with this ... doesnt seem i will real world wise??
