In end 2002, NF2 was THE chipset for AMD chips (thoroughbed or whatever, barton...) and NOT via or whatever
And in 2003 (not 3 years later), "gamers" switched to P4C which was goot at overclocking with good performances...
And if I remember correctly, the first true dual core chip was an AMD one (even before the false P4 dual core)
