    620HX cables / 620HX temps

    Two questions in one post....

    question 1:
can i purchase just the cable bundle that comes with 620HX? i hope.
i have a 620HX that i've hacked the cables apart to custom fit a case. i got rid of that case now i need new cables.

    question 2:
I have 4 620HX's and the newest one is the first one i've received that has the 8pin pcie connectors. (just to reference time period)

My 3 older ones are always cool to the touch. But this new one seems to be running warm. I haven't stressed the system at all but when idle or in bios it feels warm to the touch. not hot, but noticeably warmer than the other 3 i have. is there anyway i can monitor the temps? or know if there is an issue?

you could put a temp probe in there if you have one but thats the only way i can see of monitoring temps.

yea, don't have a temp probe.
i have it under some stress now... and it hurts to touch it its so hot. the fan is spinning but there is barely any air coming out the back. looks like i'm going to have to rma.

do i need to rma with all the accessories and can i just ship the unit?

Matt, go ahead and get an RMA number if you don't already have it. Then, PM me the RMA number. I'll take care of the cable situation for you.

RMA should be approved soon if not already. I have sent a seperate request to Customer Service for a new set of HX cables.

I also was curious about buying a seperate set of cables. nothing is wrong with mine but eventually i plan on doing some sleeving and would like to have a fresh set just in case something goes wrong.
