The "nforce mediashield" have always been CRAP and until someone proves otherwise I will stay with Windowz drivers. I've still had corruption but not my whole OS, my corruption was quite specific and since adjusting my VTT + GTLVREF I haven't had any corruption issues at all. If anything, having those crap drivers installed can only increase the likelyhood of data corruption.
