    its most likely customs.

Your block is missing somewhere, in the mail. Ive had this happen to me, the only thing you can do now is wait.

This is why i dont like ordering outside CONUS. If i deperately need something, i'll hire a custom builder.

The price for shipping + exchange rate + time almost = same if you get a custom builder to do it for you.

And i personally like custom's better. They add character to your build.

QFT... Customs = teh suck. The US Customs dept. is the main reason that shipping time for our EK orders used to be around a month. Thankfully, Eddy has switched from Slovenian Post/USPS to TNT for our shipments--much, much, much faster and there's almost no customs hold up. Due to how much it costs, though, it only makes sense for large shipments.

Does it even need a sticker?

If all it's there for is for warranty purposes (which is how I interpret it) would a few well placed small tamper sticks on the side of the block be sufficient?

A la the way danger den does it.

to be honest when has a block ever gone bad minus human stupidity?

Well the Oring goes bad, but thats not under warrenty.

The Plexiglass cracking is cuz of noob overtightening or using Alcohol.

And doesnt EVGA honor the aftermarket sink warrenty?

    Exactly ...

I got my EK waterblock today, everything looks fine, the restriction is pretty good - better than expected.
One thing is not expected - the surfaces are not polished, they have visible traces of the cutting machine ... is it normal? Comparing to my D-Tek Fuzion surface it is day-and-night ...

I don't like to pay that much and then fix something ... need to make non-restricting elbows for my rad as well ...

I hope that my temps will be better than jAkUp's caz of Magicool Extreme Nova 1080 ...

The only issue I have are looks. I'm tempted to dremel the original cover to fit around the card and block.

As for performance though the EK has been excellent in my opinion. My stealth and 8800 gtx used to idle at about 39c. With the EK and 9800 gx2 they sit at 30-35c depending on aircon and ambient. That's with 1.2+v going to the cores and oc settings of 756/1890/1150 24/7.

This card was a nightmare when I first purchased it. With a mild overclock I was hitting 92c in Graw2, before bluescreening.

    So no regrets here(Yet).

I personally would recommend to polish this home-made stuff or buy EVGA WBs ... I still can't believe that I have paid $239 for this, LOL

I have NEVER EVER seen such surface on any CHEAPEST CPU cooler, except of Intel stock ones

actually it was shown that by doing that, it makes the surface pretty darn flat.

And who cares how it looks under, JaK showed results, and they look pretty darn good to me.

I have decided to provide three comparing pictures, the first one is both blocks, the second one is my old MCW60 (paid $36 for it), and the third one isEK 9800GX2 WB - as you know, I have paid $239 for it ... kinda frustrating ...

Are you serious? "Look under" means a surface contact ...
Are we talking about the same blocks? It looks that you are talking about EVGA one and I am talking about EK one ...

I am a machinist by trade, and I can tell you just by looking at the pictures that the EK block is about ten times flatter than your old MCW60. If you don't like the non shininess, get some eagle metal polish and a few hours of spare time.

    (the machining marks won't hurt)

I really don't think those small surface marks are going to make a damn bit of difference in your temps or overclock. The Evga block @ $250 is just too much. The Ek at a lower price point looks much stronger to me now.
