I've looked through the BIOS, I'm using the latest version, and I can't find anything mentioning Memory Mapping. Like I mentioned previously, both everest and CPUz show 4 DIMMs but the usage being reported does not add up and then there was the instance of installing that HL2 mod which reported that I did not meet their 3 gig requirement.
I'm also wondering if this is what was causing VMware to crash when I tried to install Ubuntu.
Any ideas??????
I had the same problem, I just got fed up with XP 64 and its cumbersome drivers and just made the switch to Vista x64. I really didn't want to but dudeee its much better. Vista flys with 4gigs..
