I am running OCZ 1600EB 8gig also.. No issues Except damn Audio Distortion using Included Audio and when I tried my PCI-E SB Xi-fi
Wonder if it because I am using Onboard RAID 0 ?

I only have 1 2GB stick (1600 EB) that will pass memtest right now (4-5 passes). With that stick, prime blend will freeze at about 1 - 3 hours. I can run small fft's for 5+ hours, and large fft's for 3+ hours without incident. Can pass OCCT CPU for 2 hours, mix for 2 hours, and memory for 2 hours also. So, I dunno.
I received the RMA kit yesterday, but didn't get a chance to test last night.
0601 BIOS....might flash 0603 tonight before testing.

Flashed to 0603 and after finding a few sweet spots with p1 and p2 enabled here are my results. Gonna do some more tweaking in a few hours.

im having problems running these 2x2gb sticks at stock settings & timings on my striker II board ive tried upping the voltage too, it just locks up in windows while priming in under 2 hours or so. ive tried both sticks in the board seperately and i even got a m8 to loan me his 2x1gb ocz 1333 sticks and it has the exact same problem with the pc locking up in windows under load. ive tried everything i can think of at the moment ive tried raising the chipset volts, and ive tried 3-4 different timings for the ram with no success. any suggestions would be appreciatedOriginally Posted by pmp View Post
Hmm i'm using without any troubles (at their stock settings) OCZ 1600 EB kits (2 of them, so totally 8GB) without any problems at 1:2 div ?
What kind of problems are you facing ?

For those of yoyou are having random freezes set P1/P2 to auto and try. It fixed the problem for me. I was having the same problem with random freezes with both 2GB and 4GB sticks. Set P1/P2 to auto and so far so good. Also, 0603 gives back the memory bandwidth with P1/P2 on auto. I got almost 12K read with P1/P2 auto @445FSB with 0603.

I flashed 0603 bios but no boot at all, I tried a few settings & no go.
Once I went back to 0601 bios noproblem at all.
Onething I did notice is once in bios setup seems to cut in & out, anyone see that happening only for a split sec or so...

i have left P1 and P2 set to auto after reading a few posts from this thread but whats really annoying the hell out of me is that i cant even get my system stable at stock settings 1333qdr on the q9450 and the ram is running 1333 1:2 on 1.9v and auto timings are 7-7-7-20 but ive tried the ocz timings 7-6-6-24 and ive even tried 6-6-6-18 and 8-8-8-24 i even tried downclocking the ram by manually changing the ram diver to 5:4 and every time it locks up after about 2 hours of prime.

Well I can not get stable as well at a 1778FSB with SINKED & LINKED. I was stable for a bit with only 1 9800GTX card in but when I added to the second card nothing but blue screens again. I tested both 9800GTX cards on another system. But I have not tried the above leaving the P1/P2 on AUTO I will try and report back. I just moved to 0603 seems a little bit better. I was more stable using my Q6600 rather then my new QX9650 so far. I really thought moving to this QX9650 would make OCing much easier not true at all..![]()

S2E is not consistent. So these settings might not work for you. But give it a shot.
With my experience tweaking S2E, SPI 32M is so sensitive to VTT and HTT changes.

So I have some things in mind that I cant get clear...
How come ASUS went back to the older NVMM? Wouldnt it be better for NVIDIA to upgrade its NVMM to fix current problems?
Why is 0603 so dissapointing? Im talking about the changelog... 0601 sounded like a more benefiting BIOS release, idk thats just me. When is the OFFICIAL BIOS coming out? Im talking about a 060x official release, not more Betas.

Well I put back in my Q6600 CPU and now with BIOS 0603 I am only able to OC to a 1700 FSB MAX vs a 1800FSB on BIOS 0511. At least this is stable vs my QX9650 could not hold any OC at all without blue screens. I gave up and after doing some research I found out I got a crappy chip on the QX9650. So ebay it goes and I will wait a bit on my RMA on this board and maybe try a e8400 and I would like to move up to 4gb/64bit memory and OS to try out. So no RMA as of now, I have tell this Friday to request one thru the egg.. But to this day I only had 1 sign of OS corruption then I rebooted and everything was fine. I even re-installed OS on a single Raptor X with my QX9650 to make sure. So as of now I am trying to see if I can get it PRIME95 stable around 3.6GHz -3.7GHz on my Q6600..![]()

Does anybody have wierd screen flickering when gon over 450 FSB. I Had to raise the PCIE to 110 for the flickering to go away, but then my PC locked up.
I have to play around some more. This could be a driver problem also. I am on XP and will try to install vista and see what happens.
