**Official e8400/e8500 Retail OC Thread

I oc'd my e8400 to 4.5 to 4.7 on air when i got it, loosening my ram timings to maximums. I let the voltage go to 1.5V real @ Load during benching, then tried to stress test with orthos @ 4.5ghz 1.42V. I settled for 4.2ghz @ 1.38V real for normal usage. I guess that was my burnin process...

I see -- you didn't keep lowering the voltage and stressing?
