Here's my SS for my OC attempt.
Just started playing with my F3 as was pretty busy before this.

I have not tried to push it to 3.2Ghz yet, and will validate my CPU-Z when i manage to push this chip to the max.

Currently running 3133@1.20v (Set to 315x10 in cmos), using Team DDR2 667 Value Rams @1044Mhz 5-5-5-12@2.0v.

    Stepping is CCB8F 0737 BPMW...

    x2 5600+ (CCBVF 0651 WPMW) To 3.3 on Air

Been awhile since I have been able to get back hereto write. Been waiting to get a new MB to put the CPU and FireStix PC-6400s on.

Got an Abit An9 32x Fatel1ty board for $75. I seems just about as clockable as the DFI and a whole lot more stable. Later Bios are crap but the one I went back to is stable. I thinks its 1.5. Anyway , those that been using it know which one it is

Maybe someone can answer a few questions I have about the current setup.

    CPU: AM2 5600+ CCBVF 0651WPMW
    12 x 272

    MEMORY : 2 x 1 gig Buffelo Firestix PC-6400
    5-5-5-15 2.3v currently set at 667/800

Currently have the northbridge voltage set at 1.3v. Has solved a number of memory problems.

For cooling I am using an older Hyper 48 with a 92mm Torrnato fan. Noisy but I haven't gown over 50c yet even at full Othos.

Here's the questions. I think I'm at the limit for this chip and memory. At full speed, the firestixs start acting up on Vista. I could bumb up one more to 2.4 but I don't want to blow them out when I am think its thechip that will be the main limiting factor.

To get the memory back up to the 1000 mhz , I may need to really push the voltage to get the fsb back up . Its already pushing 1.6v.

My fastest setup and Othos stable has been at 12 x 265~ and full memory speed just short of 1100 at 2 x 539~

The 5600 has a base multi of 14 , I have went down 2. Should I be able to get a 14 and the the full memory divider if a get a 6400+? I have tried to read the stuff about how all this this done on the motherboard but its so confusing.

What's the top limits on these 89w chips? Should I be happy with the 400mhz increase in general terms. I need to a new sata3 HD before I get a new chip. And besides the prices will come down.

    Later.

If you get 3,3Hz on air, you should be happy, you could probably get a 6400+ to 3,5GHz, but IMO it would not be worth spending money on. I'm thinking you are using quite high voltages for those clocks, though. Keeping the chip cooler probably let's you lower the voltages applied.

    The list is updated

Edit: Nice oc for that stepping btw!

I was thinking that 500 mhz bumb was going to be it for these without water or other means of cooling.

It is cool in here this morning (28c) so would see what I could do before going to work. Been able to get it to 3.75 ghz. Super Pi crapped out first time ( non converq sqr thing). Restarted it and my first sub 26 sec.

Orthos will behave a little better to.

I am thinking heat and too high voltages but this board starts acting funny without it. Maybe a little more juice to the northbridge

Two more questions. Should I get a memory cooler? I know moving a fan around with the cool air has helped I think.

Thinking about getting out of thoses all in one 5 1/4 cooling setups. Which ones are good. Nothing fancy , will not be overclocking the video.

I will be posting some screen shots.

A fan would be advisable if you're running above normal voltages on your ram.

Hit the wall with firestix. I it cold here so I play a little. Set the voltage to 2.4 to see what would happend. Well, it happended. Hard time booting and Vista would not act right. Anyway, just short of 1100 mhz is pretty good for these.

I wanted to go 4 gig anyway so I may get a 2 gig piece of pc2-8000 or pc2-8500. Will this help me out any? Even a cheapie piece will work I would think as its still will be faster at stock than what my max is now.

Going to order an OCZ Memory Cooler today in anycase. I have been using a 80mm over them.

Yea not bad for "budget" (80Cdn) cpu, using the Swiftech "Compact H20 Kit"
Posted "prime time" in the Opteron thread @ 3250 slowly working my way up The board seem to be at it's limit, (about 400) ,in addition of "having a mind of it's own", - the Vcore in BIOS,set to deafault , will go as high as 1.45 under heavy load ,.I might stick the CPU in
the MSI790 (K9A2) eventually ,have a 9600BE in it right now.

will try to add a picture later.
last but not least it's the "f3" stepping/revision" as per topic

300x11 = 3300 1.5v Nothing stellar yet. Something strange is up with this board as my chips seem to want a bit much to be stable. Anything over 1.55v = shutdown. Temps are all in check to..
