i'll do you a favor and ignore the 2nd screen shot. in the first you said you've never even seen 1% CPU utilization? so why is it at 3%? and why is your average read and burst lower than if the drive were just connected to the motherboard?

and why can your software raid card be bottlenecked by the bus it sits on but a hardware card can't?
