We did a comparative test Runaway with Everest the same settings... P5K Dlx was giving better bandwith numbers and lower latencies... (which prolly reflect in zero extra performance for day to day basis)
It's easier to get better clocks on a chipset with looser settings, recall 965 and 975 Chipsets... clock for clock 975 was superior, though high FSB was more easily achieved on the 965...
