    Some might say wrong section, but I'd disagree...

    Have anybody tested D9JMN...? According to my readings, it should be the bigbrother of D9JNL, and IMO, looks like its a worthy competition to the GTR & GTS....
    However, I havent got a sample, yet, so I cant tell for sure...
    Anybody with experience?

    so what kind of kit would this be in, is this ddr3 for 2GB sticks

    D9JMN is MT47H128M8HQ-3E, a 1Gbit (128Mx8) DDR2 IC binned at 333MHz (DDR2-667) CAS4 (12ns).
    D9JNL is MT41J128M8HX-187E, a 1Gbit (128Mx8) DDR3 IC binned at 533MHz (DDR3-1066) CAS7 (13ns).

    It's pointless to compare these two.

    Since you explicitly mentioned two DDR3 ICs I'm assuming you didn't mean to say D9HNL (MT47H128M8HQ-3), which is a DDR2 IC.
    This would have been a logical typo, because D9JMN is exactly the same as D9HNL, only with a lower CAS (4 vs 5).

    i tried GTR and GTS chips and compared them 2 times, there was no difference between them whatsoever...

    GTR is 1066 777
    GTS is 1333 888...
    its only logical, if a micron ddr3 chip can do 1066 777 itll do 1333 888 as well at the same voltage

    In this case its different:
    JNL is 1066 777
    JNM is 1333 999(!)

    so in this case id actually say IF there is a difference, then id rather expect JNL to be better chips than JNM

    So basicly, it would be like GTR vs. GTS - just in 78 instead of 86... I dont know exactly what to expect, just a little higher clocks, or maybe just not as vdimm hungry...?
    But Im wondering if any current kits are with JNM...?

    why do you think JNM would be superior to JNL in any way though?

    I dont..
    I hope they will, I've seen 4 interesting upcoming chips apart from these, sadly, I dont know the "code" yet...

    JNL specs, apart from... not 1.5v @ 1066, but 1.35v... Interesting...
    And then, the chips that will allow 4GB sticks... - I'm so into building a 6x4GB DDR3 rig with nehalem in the future... Especially if a mobo with boot directly from DIMM will be developed...

    Anyhow, GTS was a little better then GTR, or did as well, just didnt take as high voltage... If same thing appears with JNM, it could be interesting...

    i compared gtr and gts at all cas latencies and voltages from 1.5v to 2.28v and i found no difference whatsoever...

    I've been informed that JNM clocks higher... I'm expecting to give it a shot myself within April, hopefully...

    Well, it's true that at factory speedbins D9JNL is faster when it comes to overall latency.
    D9JNL has a total latency of 13ns compared to D9JNM's 13.5ns (based on rated speeds and CAS values).

    However, this isn't enough to determine which one will clock higher, as it depends on much more variables.
    We'll just have to wait and see.
