Do you have the 790FX-M2R or M2RS?

Attention: Updated Process For...... The Olympic Sport Of Bios Flashing

So Far the 4/15/08 Beta seems positive and keeping fingers crossed that it does well and is stable.

    What I did was this.........

(#1) Download the 4/15/2008 Beta "Zip Package"
    (#2) Format Blank Floppy Disk
(#3) Download DR Dos and send to Floppy Disk
(#4) Extract 4/15/2008 Zip Package to Floppy Disk ....NOTE: when 4/15/2008 Zip Package is Extracting to Floppy disk it will ask you if you wish to replace the AUTOEXEC.BAT File ......Click NO!
(#5) Make sure you do a proper clear cmos with the system Unplugged of course!
(#6) Only leave your USB Mouse plugged in and USB Keyboard /// ...Preferably its Best to Use a PS2 KEYBOARD over the USB Keyboard!
(#7) Boot up and Press "F1" to continue with Defaults Loaded
    (#8) Boot into Pure DOS and when you get to A:\ Prompt ..Type this from A:\AWDFLASH.EXE R7LD415.BIN /CKS /SN /PY /CC /CD /CP /LD /QI /WB /CH /E ...(Hit Enter!)
(#9) Let the Flash Complete and the /E Switch that we included into the Switching Parameters will Return you to A:\ Prompt
    (#10) at that Point when on A:\ Prompt Re-Type...A:\AWDFLASH.EXE R7LD415.BIN /CKS /SN /PY /CC /CD /CP /LD /QI /WB /CH /E

(#11) After the Second Flash is Complete and you return to A:\ and the Floppy light goes out please power down manually and do Proper 10-15 Minute Clear cmos

"EDIT" Proper Spacing of Flash Command Parameters is "CRITICAL"! This means the Dude from DFICLUB!

NOTE: The Reason to Flash two times using this method is because it will make sure that the old code that was stored on the Flash Chip is properly Over written without doubt or question and in return it yields a Much Cleaner Bios Flash for the Extra Effort!

    BTW.....ROCK ON!!!
