    The kit you received was substandard...do not judge that every kit of the memory you had will not reach the rated timings. It is that simple. OCZ has a lifetime warranty, all you had to do was give us the information and we would have replaced the kit.

    Based on what you have posted, you are stating that there is no way the OCZ would perform to rated speeds. We guarantee them too, which is why you should have let us know and we would have made it right. Saying that no OCZ 1600 kit will run its rated timings is just not true, but that is what you seem to be stating simply because some other kit you bought clocks where it should.
    Makes sense. I was disappointed because of the response on newegg website, which is deleted there anyway.

    I should definitely be talking about my particular kit, and I didn't mean all OCZ modules, some of them are awesome and the one I tried was just a basic inexpensive one.

    Also now I understand that it might be not your module's problem, but 790i Ultra SLI's problem, because plenty of people report similar issues with Corsair memory, Patriot memory, etc.
