Who knows, hopefully the preordees blocks are assembled and ready for delivery and that note only counts for new orders. Seems stange that stock of screws for Gx2-blocks run out so quickly, but then again i dont blame EK for that supplier dont hold their delivery.

Yeah, its annoying that the blocks are ready and only screws are stopping them shipping, but nothing can really be done about that... not really EK's fault I guess!

Are you sure that you are the first one? i´m not even sure i am when i place the order before i made the hint in my post.
But don´t worry my money has to travel throu bank-system before they are at EK:s bank.
I don´t like Paypal that mutch that i put that kind of money at their possesion but however i respect the one (seller/buyer) that use it. Standard bank transfer is my kind of game if not creditcard is avalible as payment since i have a 100% secure one so no one can get any money out of it if they snap up the code/cardnumber since it only works once and for the amount i set up for it, after that the generated code or cardnumber is useless for anybody since my real cardnumber are never exposed anymore but that is no way of seeing that for anyone that taking out money when i use the e-card i have.

Whoa DarthBeavis, looking good! Those blocks look pretty massive. Are those holes in the top of the blocks there to reduce the weight a little? Any pics before installation?

Looks very nice. This is one of the options I am considring for my build, got a question. Can you fit a sound card with the 2 GX2's? It looks like room between the cards but does the plumbing get in the way?

Like usual . . .both companies release a great product. They are designed a bit different each with benefits.

Taking the GX2 apart sucks tho guys. I mean really sucks. Installing the blocks after you have it apart is easy.

I was about to ask about that... so the actual mounting is ok? How long did it take to pull the cover off one of the cards?

Resived a waterblock for the 9800GX2 today, perhaps not the performance you get with Ek´s block but did get this block for free

Will order a Ek block later and test...

Those are Fat Boy fittings. You can get them from many vendors including DD and Frozen CPU.

Got the same issue here temp wise. Basically unusable as they are. playing Graw2 hits 92c then crashes out.

A real shame the cards look so bloody ugly naked.
