ARRGHH, why is everyone using a Triple rad for just a CPU loop? MCR220s would be enuf to OC a Phenom RIGHT!?!?!??

Im using the MCR220 from swiftech (Duel 120mm fans) to cool my Q6600 G0, NB on the Maximus SE, and two HD 3870s in CF. Temps are great! Seriously, after playing Supreme Commander for about an hour just now,Originally Posted by Loser777 View Post

Max CPU Temp: 48C @ 3.2GHz
Max GPU Temp: 41C
A 220 rad is fine, although I plan on adding a 320 this summer when I upgrade my parts to 2 4870X2's and my case to a Lian Li PC-P80 (I love that thing).
Overall, I guess people overcompensate for what they really need.

it's most silent comp i've had.
The PSU is the loudestnone of the fans are at all though. I got them all on fan controllers just in case, but the PSU is definitely the loudest thing.
I have an e6400 @ 3.2ghz 1.4v idle = 30/31c max = 36-39c
I plan on adding a 2nd mcr220 radiator up top (if you look above the radiator there's space for 2 more 120mm fans).
I highly recommend this case
I'm doing a big case mod on a Lian Li Cube and it's far from being done. I halted the mod in order to put it together and use if for the Forum Warz. It turned out to be a good thing doing the intermediate assembly because I learned a few things about the more cramped areas and know how to fix them now. Here's a few pics of the setup:
System spec:
QX9650/Maximus Formula/Mushkin Redlines/3870X2+3870/Zalman HP-850/Raptor 150/EK CPU, mobo and 3870X2 block/Koolance 3870block/Swiftech MCP655 on the CPU, Koolance RP-1000s (x3) on the GPUs and mobo/Swiftech 3x12 rads (x2), 2x12 (x1) and 1X12 (X1)/SilenX fans/Mad Dog DVD-R/partly finished Lian Li custom case.

Ahh man Sergio! Nice pics again!!! I really like how you mounted your reservoir though, I think I might steal that idea and use it for my 900 as my mounting system is kinda screwy.
