after update BIOS 1004 my ram was not stable in white slot, i try boot with blue slot no problems...and why my RAM cant boot cas 8 in divider 2:3 but no problem boot with cas 6/7 same divider and same strap, i used BIOS 1004?

Btw I suggest u do some research first before changing the values

Make sure you set it to "Manual"

CPU, NB, etc are at very bottom of page.
scroll all the way down.

yeah i got it thanks...

also i set up raid by putting the sata config to raid and using the raid setup with ctrl+l

but in the manual... it says to enable sata bootrom

i couldnt find that either... any help?

should i just run it and not worry?

This 2 SATA bootrom, one Intel (SATA RAID) and one JMicron (SATA/IDE)

Made a NOOB mistake and through the MB box away.

Well this gives me a chance to correct all the things I found wrong the last time.

just checked @asus site ... bios v1004 latest beta - only available ..
even (earlier) v1001 was gone?.. wiped ? now
... damn ..i had serious problems when upgrading from (factory def. bios ?605..) ->to v0805 and finally ended up on ver. 1001(my current) .. now don't have any ideas..

No differences in terms of max fsb . Memtest stable up to 568Mhz . Tried all bios from 08XX up to 1007 .

Only changes i noticed is that the memory subtimings (if you leave them to auto) are different at high fsb (530+) .
