Nice little box was delivered today

Out of box experience was first... is this box filled with lead ?? Opening the box to find 3 white tubes with the Dragon F1 Extreme Edition and TEK-9 3.0 logos and I was a very happy guy !

These puppies are very heavy for their size which surprised me at just how heavy they are. Quality was very high and they included all the fittings and some insulation. Note pictures do not show every little screw which is need to mount, Allen wrench etc.

All in all a very, very nice package !!

This is EXACTLY what it was designed and tuned for. The unit just keeps going strong to 5.9-6GHZ/1.95+ 2K6
It makes me very happy and carries alot of weight when I hear that coming from world class benchers like you guys Crotale . Very cool pictures and I'm honored that the F1 is so well represented at your event.

Start testing dual F1 EE's on skulltrail again. Gonna give some 8core 3dmark06another go soon with a little more horsepower this time around....Tuning/modding for 5750mhz with 444x13 cas3. This one below at 5706mhz is at cas5. 3-4-3-8 at 440+ will bring 13kcpu score:

Notice Vince being cool and humble. These pots work so well due to the countless hours of testing that has gone into them

Yeah exactly right Pete, 5.7GHz for a single CPU is like 1 in a 1000+ from what you see around the place.
Have you had a play on Skulltrail system mate?

Just cpu test but still fun to push two cpus in it. The mem/fsb F's up scaling pretty bad on SM2.0
Striker2 or any other capable ddr3 board with high fsb/high mem can beat it.

Gonna run some single card 2006 today, I expect it to be right on par with really good ddr3 platform though and not much more on LN2.
    4.2ghz + stock gx2 pulls about 22.5k

It's so easy to figure out dude...
ADP3189...Dont tell me you have never done a mod with that voltage controller . There is a capacitor and two resistors in line with 4th pin down from upper left on adp3189 that are close to it...take your pic. I used 50k but lower good too. Same for both cpu vregs.
You gonna make me bust out my camera?

Just google searched ADP3189 + vcore mod and third result page 1
Tyrou's the man.. Looks like he had it figured out for awhile now. He uses the capacitor I mentioned. Sharp looking site as well:

Yeah i have previously pulled that datasheet and looked into it. Trouble is im not very electronics literate so when i saw "Max volts is 1.6V" written, and then thought about how the BIOS has that 0.3V booster setting, i figured the mod must have to be something else. Thanks a lot for confirming it mate.

Skultrail/QX9775 @Dual F1 EE 5910mhz...this rig is the biggest rush of any setup I have ever benched. Two cpu units are roaring at this speed . BIG DUAL 6GHZ possible?

    CPUZ validation

    Still working on 2006.

Sweet setup, I surprised your skulltrail board can run at that high Vcore. We had serious problems with our board at Cebit at a lower voltage, mosfets started to literally burn.

Are you using the Intel board or third party?

Great clocking KP!!! Actually KILLER stuff
But yeah man.. the "alpha" version I had chance to bench on started getting hot with just 1.75V... so something changed??

Oh my god vince. that setup is real sweet. Do have any performance gain on the skull compared to 790i board and single quad @ 5900mhz?

SLI performance is very poor on skull... to bad, this board could have been more then the OC-ers wet dream. But maybe you can amaze us?

by the way, I've tested the F1 EE yesterday, I need to save myself some money, but I truly want one myself right now. Never saw any pot dropping in temp during 06 cpu test.

Cpu-z verification says Intel board .

    Going for 2v+, KP?
