If i can get lucky enough to get an opportunity to buy one of these i will be.

I don't think OCZ will have a problem with unloading these.

Give OCZ props for atleast getting these out. Sounds like they thought it would be easier then it was. They could have just cut losses and not gone threw, but they are making some, which is more then none. I'm thinking they aren't making any money or even losing some here.

I love it, all the people that called it "Vapor Ware" will have to eat their words. Three cheers for OCZ not rushing it to market until it was ready.

    Something like Littledevilīs case.

    Hope its ok Littledevil
Can't really do that, or you shouldn't. The processor will get hot almost instantly, while the evap head takes a minute to get to operating temperature of -30c or whatever. The processor's thermal shutdown should kick in before that happens.

I guess LD's method works, but I wouldn't use it on something of my own, or advise anyone to use it on a heavily overclocked quad.

Yes directly off OCZ.com there will be an online order page. I assume it will be linked off that page or right off the front page on the site.

It would be really good if it turned PC on just after evap is cold enough.

I know a lot of us have been a pain in the ass but what about the idea of giving us first shot? I'm sure the majority of us will consume most of your inventory if given the opportunity.

This product is just amazing for its price, UK is having a lack of Extreme cooling solutions of this level as one dedicated company shut down was announced last year, if this product could reach this part of the world would be widely used for overclocker's as a first option. I hope it could expand its business over here.

That's what phase controllers do. They let you chose what temperature you want your computer to boot at.

No...didn't miss your post, but I have other duties besides testing everything people ask. I realize it has been 5 hours since you posted, but there are 75000 members of XS and 26000+ at the OCZ forums. Only 1 of me

This is the news thread too...testing questions...are best asked in the results thread in the Phase section

^ That's very dissapointing, but expected for the price point.
    Sounds good for X48 NB.

Tony yeah, your right, however, this still is extreme system, and curiosity has no limits, ofcause one wants to know what happens when 200W, when 300W...

Is it "loud" in general? I realize it's all based on perception, but could you just give a general description of the amount of noise/how annoying said noise is when the unit is running?

Remember guys this is a budget single stage unit, I have said this many times.

    It is NOT a cascade...

That being said Eric is seeing good temps, he is learning phase for the first time and he is doing his best to show you everything you are asking for.

I think this unit is awesome value, it is NOT silent but its not overly loud either. I am sure some will moan and others will be benching at -50C and not caring about the noise...we can't please everyone

you have to remember this thing is a refrigerator, it will make noise.

Is there any estimated MTTF on these?

Only a 1 year warranty scares me off a bit.
