Also no matter what settings I make in the bios with regards to vcore all of the in OS reading progs are showing it still running @ stock vcore. What's the deal with that?

oh yeah... running F8b bios.

let us know how that f8b bios is working for ya. im still on the f7 b/c i dont have a 45nm processor and that seems to be the only update. f7 has been super stable so far, only thing was it didnt boot up on 400x9fsb at 1.25v. had to bump up wattage, but thats not really a bios problem. my VID is high at 1.3
