steve30x. the only reason i can think of that the temperatures could possibly be higher is because maybe the vcore is more stable to the cpu under load. This could cause higher temperatures... How do you know that your ambient temperature is the same as it was when you had the other motherboard, this could also be a factor. The only other way that it would be giving you worse temperatures is if you have some air bubbles stuck in the radiator, your block, or you are getting bad mounting pressure, or TIM is not spreading very evenly on your block. I can't think of anything else.
