hehe the LE 1640 are real good clockers. I have one myself in my allday system with default vcore >3ghz stable on air. unfortunatly my board isn't prepared for oc (no voltage options at all) else I would give it a go as well. it is some kind of fun because the chips can do real high mhz for amd. doesn't scale anymore with more vcore? think there are some chips that can do 4ghz on dice

Very good job Masell. This mobo is the best ever made for AM2 .
I Want to buy one Le-1640 when i received my single stage. It's very nice to take some cold and no have quick cold bug. I've tried under single stage with the first AM2 on may 2007 . It's a coldboot around -50° @stock FSB for the boot and just 50MHz was taken
Just for the fun I've never fallin AMD o/c

At -50'C this chip is unstable with stock HTT 200MHz . When I set 1.85vcore then I almost can go to OS . To 3.95GHz I need about +10'C cpu temp

Yes it's true ,the good temperature is between +5°C and +15°C .Sometimes i need to put more Vcore for obtain this.
After ,the quality of the chip make a good o/c or not.
