Because of the compatibility issues that I encountered, I just wouldn't recommend it (you still can, of course). Basically, the mounting hardware presses up against one of the board's capacitors and bends it as well as pushing up against the stock northbridge heatsink. In addition, due to the way in which you're forced to install the backplate (it only clears leads in once direction), you can't use the backside cooler if you're going to be putting the board inside of a case.
