Successful flash of the P03r2 BIOS to the EVGA 790i here using a SATA Samsung DVDRW

I flashed the beta BIOS using this method:

Download bios here

Burn the BIOS file to rewriteable CD/DVD, floppy, or USB flash disk (not tried)

Restart PC, and press ALT-F2 to load the built in flashing software (see MB manual)

Flash BIOS, restart, turn off, Clear CMOS
Enjoy lower latencies, and slightly improved bandwidth
