With a small over clock that's getting on for 550w, maybe a bit much for a PA120.3

2 GX2's OC would push a 120.3 on thier own IMO.

When will they be hitting the stores Eddy? Also a questions for you guys, whats the heat dump of a GX2, I wanna run it in a loop with my QX6800 and the 780i / nForce chip via Vipers block, would it be ok on a D5 Vario and a PA120.3?

Really? Wouldn't it be alittle less than that since theyre basically 2 512MB GTS's? Would a extra PA120.1 in the loop help any?

Could we pre-order it? I rly want this to arrive at the same time as my GX2.

No LEDs please :P I want a clean system, without any LEDs.
If you absolutely must have LEDs, i would placed them at the bottom of the block, so it would give the same effect like neon lights under a car.

I believe he is just going to include 2 3mm holes so you could add your own leds if you want, or leave them out for a clean look.

Pictures of Aqua Computer's 9800GX2 block:

    http://www.aqua-computer-systeme.de/...oducts_id=1906

It's kind of disappointing, I was hoping for more. At least it's copper with 1/4" connections, but I don't like how the blocks are connected and it looks like a lot more flow restriction. I think the Ek block looks way more massive and efficient. I think I'll go with Ek.

    Excellent news Eddy!

Good thing those hands that were all over it weren't from around here...otherwise, you wouldn't have had the block long enough to take any pics of it.

For everyone asking about the price, expect it to be about a little less than 2 8800GTX coolers (roughly the same as the DD listed back a page or so), I'm guessing maybe...120€-125€ (~$188-$195 US).

Have to calculate the pricing, also cant say prices here in forums. It will be a bit more than 3870X2 bock.

how do u guys come to the conclusion that the innovatek block is made from alu only???
sure... the biggest part is 100% aluminium just to reduce the weight of the block. but the the part that is cooling the gpu (which is the only important thing to really watercool) is made from 100%copper. the alu look of the gpu part comes from a thin layer that protects the copper from oxidation. oxidation will reduce the performance of a copper block much more than this microscopic thin layer.
u guys should read the product information on innovateks site instead of just looking at a picture and say "bahhh.. alu"

...and just to add to what mcoffey said, I've seen a pic of what happens to Innovatek's plating and it ain't pretty. Mix that with the aluminum touching the copper and things get even fuglier. Oxidation does not hurt coppers thermal transfer at all, it just looks fugly.

ur afraid of corrosion of the aluminium? or of the two metals reacting with each other? i´m just curious what the major problem is. nobody is running his wc with ordinary water... there are additives which prevent corrosion.

@mcoffey 120.3 with high flow fans might do it. id figure its about 4 8800Ultras for heat load, so you might be pushing it. HEY THERMOCHILL, HERE WOULD BE A GREAT TIME TO INTRODUCE A 120.4!!! srry, just thought maybe Marci would hear it :p.

@MadDias the copper and aluminum corrode when in a loop together. yes there are anticorrosive fluids but they dont work all the time and things still corrode. many people here have experienced it first hand. Also a lot of people are running straight distiled water (plaining water) with a bit of Biocide to keep stuff from growing. with the Anti Corrosive fluids things tend to gunk up and reduce the flow in the loop and reduce the thermal transfer between the block and the water.

The thing is, a lot of ppl would like to put it together and forget about it for a while. You can't do that with mixed metal loops, they need much more attention and care to keep them problem free. I'm currently posting this on such a loop and even with Innovatek Protect I'm still a good bit nervous.

maybe 2 loops with a 120.2 for each GPU?? idk. ive seen people run 2 ultras on a 120.3 b4. these 9800gx2's seem like they put out even more heat.
