you would think they would have updated the chipset drivers for x48 not leave it the same , if there trying to market the board as something different then why have the exact same drivers?Then why did you report it?

Nope not at all. If you read the thread you'd see that P5E boards can also be modded with this bios.
I saw the P5E, but I noticed there are two different versions of the MF. Does the SE have something the RTM MF does not? And by your response, I'm making the assumption the RTM works just the same.

Appears the only difference b/w SE & RTM is compatibility with ECC/unbuffered DIMMS. Joining the club.
