I had only to validate again my copy of Vista business. Luckly everything was done online by a click and a waiting of a couple of seconds.

No issues with Vista x64 Ultimate. Didn't even have to re-activate which was nice.

I'm having slight problems with my Q6600 G0.

I can't seem to get it stable'ish uness I'm pushing 1.5v core. Is there any other values I could adjust to lower the vcore requirements?

I tried running a marathon Prime95, it failed after about 14 hours. Under load the Core MAX temp is 69/69/66/66, on average the temps are 64/64/61/61. I think I have a pretty good seating, only 3c variance between the two cores.

Compared to my old setup with 3.0GHz @ 1.4v my temps were 55/55/51/51 looks like things got a lot worse

I'm using 0907 on Windows Vista 64.

DET DRAM Issues most occure when tight spd has been programmed or from wrong user overclocking issues.
If your system boots just fine with default settings then you overclocking settings has to do with DET DRAM

I fixed my DET DRAM issue by setting DRAM Static Read Control to disabled. Auto/Enabled would give me problems even @ stock speeds for some reason.

I had exactly the same issue when pushing an FSB above 455 with a Q6600 G0. Basically down to a couple of cores (0 & 1) dropping off the FSB due to not having the flexibility to alter the GTL. I'm hoping that I'll now be able to push further with the added setting in the 219 BIOS.

On a side note, when I was able to post with just 2 cores I could run Orthos etc quite stabilty on them. I guess its down to the CPU being 2 C2D's stuck together & there being a difference in the quality of the chips.

I know what your saying there, but only the BIOS is missing the other 2 cores. CPU-Z sees it, Everest and Windows sees all 4.

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood what you meant then... In my case (using 907 BIOS I think) it was the BIOS, CPUz & anything else you care to mention that couldnt see cores 0 & 1.

Personally I'm able to push my FSB upto about 480 now (not 24/7 stable, but benchmark/game stable for hours), 450 @ 24/7 which is up from the 410-425 I used to get.
