I think Koolance FTW, wont be supported till they release some decent blocks, that perform as well as they look and aren't alu.

Fittings isn't exactly a huge achievement lol.
actually its a straight passway. The whole thread inlet and that narrow part you see is straight. It bulges like that because the other part swivles so you can install it instu.

And yes i ordered the right angle compression to drop on my gpu's. I dont care much about flow and temps on the gpu side. As long as its better then air and at less noise, im happy with that loop.

The cpu i added compressions on the inlet. I want more restriction, for faster velocity. This is my theory. And my RD-30 wont have issues providing headpressure. :P

But even if they are a bit more restrictive im guessing we can use it to our advantage. Expecially on the D-tek, have a double set of accelerators? :T

But as i said i'll find out when i get them on friday.

And this is all theory thats poping in my head, so dont quote me on anything as fact. :P

Also to answer your block question. At first i would totally agree with you, until i saw this little guy. And it honestly quite interested me in a south bridge block.

Tell me what you think is wrong with it, because i have been trying to find some form of flaw in it without sucess.

I just had a look on the koolance site and they seem to be offering a copper/brass/nickel version of most blocks in their range. Good to see a step in the right direction
Now people might dare to put them in their loops and we might start to see some test results

sorry gonna be a very very dark day when i replace my EK with a Koolance cpu block.

This you better not hold your breath on. The chipset, is a different question tho.

I've seen people using the CPU-330 before on here I believe.

Their quick disconnects are pretty nice as well.

Yeah but the 330 has Alum in it, the newer 340 is nickel plated copper and brass.

Fair enough. Just thought it would be interesting to see how they go now that people might consider using them.

Looks good, nice high flow barbs, the bend is innovative and would probably assist in tube router from CPU > Chipset. I like it, BUT why don't koolance like showing us what's inside hmmm?

I actually really like the Chipset block.

In fact. Right now I'm on vacation.... in a warm place... And, whilst here the 790i mobo were released. I've been considering scrapping my whole entire previous build, to go with the 790i. And, since this block seems rather universal, I may order one, to see if I can get tri-sli setup, with WC.
Now, if they would only release the 9800GTX I'd be all set, the GX2 doesn't seem so exciting, especially after the 7950 debacle....

That's all I'm going to say, as I don't want to hijack NaeKuh's thread....

but, I'd like to say thanks for bringing it to our attention....

    later,
    Breezyjr

Whow, if only they would release the connectors on that as a fitting, looks like a 45degree bend, man many times you dont need or want a 90degree but need some sort of bend right off the block, res/whatever, that would help allot along with being much less restrictive. With those any block could use compressions regardless of their thread spacing.

Hmm, I wonder if more people will be using blocks like that now that the GX2 is out, most probably avoided them incase they ever wanted to do Tri SLI, but with the GX2 you cant use a 3rd, hmm.

Also, people shouldn't expect everything they make to have to be brought up to the quality of the competitors to be taken seriously, just making the rest of their parts not out of aluminum is enough, every WC company makes 1-2 kinds of items well, but usually also makes others that don't do as well as competitors who specialize in those specific parts. For now just think of them as specializing in fittings
