Forsaken, could you please post your BIOS settings for this OC? Is it prime stable yet? Looking good on Superpi...I'm sure with some sub-timing tweaks, you'll get it under 10 seconds.

I'm really interested in what people are running CPU VTT at and obviously the GTLs alongside it.

This is a little off topic, but I just want to make sure there are no delays when I get my x48!

With vista 64 ultimate will I need a floppy drive to install the raid driver? Are there any other options besides slipstreaming? I really hope they support thumb drives or something this day in age, but if I need a floppy I would ike to know ahead so I can go buy one and have it ready.

wasup , maybe change my asus p5e for a dfi lt x48 , but my question is, what memory is the best for this mobo

the specs only support 800mhz, what happen with if hay put other speed

i have now crucials 4 x 1gb 1066mhz, finding some good memory on the sites, see this ocz

Damn that's the board for me, like the colors more (assuming its black PCB and bright orange för slots like the rest od the DK boards) and the LT and UT versions are a bit pricey for me as I have to import from the states. I hope its going to be out soon!

the dk should be about $220, but it will only have 4phase pwm and should be lowwer quality board and a lower binned chipset than the LT/UT

so for the peeps that tested the X48, I assume most u guys tested the X38 and the P35 aswell, I am now at the point to get either the P35 ( much cheaper) or the X48, so is there a gain in performance ?

there is a gain is xfire and probly future cards (pci-e2.0 with 216x slots) and it has better memory performance at low latency or high speeds

not worth it only thing i see better is crossfire n pcie-2.0
but mind you i love the dfi-x38 compared with gigabut p35 or x38-dq6

on another note anyone get past 555fsb

so if you don't have a x38 board nor p35 & are ready to try one, do you guys recommend this one over the x38? I'm stuck between DFI x38, x48 or 790i ultra.

Been working on my OC, starting to get the board figured out.

VTT is 1.104 set in bios but shows 1.12 in bios, 1.1v in SG. Gtl's= 70/69/70, still toying with them tho.

they dont make the x38 anymore and they are the same price so i would go x48 as of now but not upgrade from x38 to x48 (but the bios for x48 here i come)
