I've never really been a fan of the Antec 900, save a few custom cases. This is definitely one of them. Great Job!

1 I use a loud 25ltr compressor, built a box frm mdf with foam paddin and you cant evemn here it! great money saver, those silent compressor are a small fortune 4 a decent one with a good output.
2 about 40psi, the compressor i use is constantly runnin when i use the spraygun, need a bigger tank realy 50ltr would be ideal
3 depends on what your doin detial work can be as low as 15psi up to aroun d 40psi. For general work i use around 35psi, all depends on needle size and how reduced the paint is.
4 London, hope da info is useful

Nice job on the stone... I've never seen that on a case before.

As far as suggestions for what to paint over it... cave paintings maybe? Ironic that there are primative cave paintings on the outside and then computer inside. Or writing on it like an engraved stone tablet or something like that.

maybe have some water leaking through the cracks of the stone, with a bit of mos or grass growing out of the cracks as well.

Adding some green or brown for dirt/moss/vegitation would make it look more real.

Honestly the idea of cave paintings and what not on the outside sounds hilariously ironic to me, i'd love to see that.
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?

@ dean0

again, awesome job

you should pimp out your services. my friend paid £250 (over 540 dollors) to have a welsh dragon sprayed into the side of his van a year or so back. the blending of colors and tones were like your case above.

have seen a few boy racers and work vans with such work. you should advertise your capabilities

Update time! riveted the frame together, strartin on the two front fan's, heres da pics, enjoy :P

As you can see the frame isnt clearcoated, decided not to bother in the end, to much hassle sandin the frame . Don't worry im still clearcoatin everything on the outside! You may notice that the base panel is metalic blue on the outside, had a can on da shelf, fort i would use it.

Layout of the fans, might add a 3rd aint decided. See what two looks like first

Nice Sketchup of the 900. Now is that my original antec 900 sketchup model?
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...17a316bcc2959a

Or is it the modified version of mine done by GreyRadean?
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...0f&prevstart=0

Love what your doing with the case. Puts an all new look to it. Looks like the 120mm fans in the top will be a tight fit since there isn't allot of space above the motherboard. The tree front fan mod is easily done but you will have to find a way to get a CD/DVD ROM in the system. Most people who do the 3 front fans generally mod a slot load into the bottom of the case. I've considered removing the IO and buttons from the top bezel of the case and putting a slot loaded there at that angle.

First up i had so give workshop good claean after sandin bodyfiller, stuff was everywhere, wont stay like this long :P
Before, and you cant see the state of the floor!

After, FRESHNESS!

Happy with the finish on the top panel after the primer, quick sand then ready for the airbrush! and mayb a couple of fans

nearly finish fans, aint decided whether to airbrush these or paint black what you tink?

Dean where do you live? Would you like to see your rig on the cover of CPU Magazine?

http://www.pdxlan.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4493

So far at least 4 PDXLAN modder have had our rigs on the cover (my Autopsy, Dead Guy's red acrylic tower, Qtips Digg rig, and the Trash 80 mod on the cover this month).

PDXLAN and CPU Magazine are holdig an Antec 900 ONLY case mod contest at PDXLAN 12. Top spot is 1500 bucks, front cover plus two pages inside, and usually other hardware is also awarded.
